Use ground turkey to ease up this soothing American work of art - a low fat, low calorie supper that the entire family will cherish

Cooking Ingredients

    • 1 tbsp olive oil
    • 1 enormous onion, finely hacked
    • 1 garlic clove, squashed
    • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    • 2 tsp tomato purée, in addition to 1 tbsp for the beans
    • 500g turkey mince (thigh is ideal)
    • 1 enormous egg, beaten
    • 85g new white breadcrumbs
    • 2 tbsp grill sauce, in addition to 4 tbsp for the beans
    • 2 x 400g jars cannellini beans
    • 1-2 tbsp generally slashed parsley

Cooking Direction

    Technique
    Stage 1
    Heat broiler to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Heat the oil in an enormous griddle and cook the onion for 8-10 mins until mellowed. Add the garlic, Worcestershire sauce and 2 tsp tomato purée, and mix until joined. Put away to cool.

    Stage 2
    Put the turkey mince, egg, breadcrumbs and cooled onion blend in an enormous bowl and season well. Blend all that to join, then shape into a rectangular portion and spot in a huge broiling tin. Spread 2 tbsp grill sauce over the meatloaf and prepare for 30 mins.

    Stage 3
    In the mean time, channel 1 jar of beans just, then, at that point, empty the two jars into a huge bowl. Add the leftover grill sauce and tomato purée. Season and put away.

    Stage 4
    At the point when the meatloaf has had its underlying cooking time, spread the beans around the outside and heat for 15 mins more until the meatloaf is cooked through and the beans are quite hot. Dissipate over the parsley and serve the meatloaf in cuts.
